I visited here as part of a group for a Christmas party. It is a nice location, but where we were sat meant that not everyone had a proper seat at the table (despite numbers being advised in advance), so one member of the group was perched on a corner. This also made it harder for the servers to get around the table and they ended up passing dishes over people's heads and across the table. The food, whilst well cooked, lacked in substance. Those who ordered steaks were expecting chips, but got no additional dishes, so instead shared the roast potatoes. Those who chose turkey received just 2 very thin slices of meat. They were also served a dish of carrots and beetroot (there might have been bits of parsnip in there, but everything took the colour of the beetroot so it wasn't obvious). However, many people were disappointed that there were no green vegetables such as sprouts, broccoli or peas). Finally - and it's the detail that counts - there were no Christmas crackers on the table. There were only a few tiny plastic Christmas trees that suggested this was a festive event despite it being booked as such and everyone ordering from the festive menu. On the plus side, the servers did a very good job. There were plenty of them and they did very well.

Yet another fantastic meal at Fourwards. Ate from the set menu tonight and it was faultless and exceptionally good value I have never been to another restaurant that does a set menu to this standard Had a Venison stew for main although this sounds a lot more basic than it was . Had I got the skill to cook like this it would have taken me hours. Venison was falling apart and the base sauce was absolutely fantastic. Served with really creamy mash and glazed carrots . To finish it was the Raspberry and White Chocolate bread and butter pudding . Absolutely lovely . Keep doing what you are doing Adam and Stacey . Not sure what we would do if this wasn’t here in Earl Shilton .

Another amazing meal today, opted for the 8oz Rump steak and chunky chips with a lovely seasoning on, probably one of the best steaks I've had followed by the Eton mess sundae. Great service from start to finish too!

We went for Sunday lunch with the family at Four Awards, and it was absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, everything was spot on. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The service was just as impressive, friendly, attentive, and welcoming! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality meal and a lovely dining experience!

My experience at Fourwards from start to finish was just incredible! We visited on a Saturday morning to try the new brunch menu and we are already planning our next visit. The attention to detail at this restaurant is unlike anywhere I’ve visited before. The atmosphere, the staff, the outstanding food - everything is just PERFECTION. The staff really make this place special. Every single one of them was welcoming, knowledgeable and polite and more than happy to chat with us and make recommendations (which were absolutely spot on). If you’re looking for amazing food and amazing service, then this is the place to be. (p.s. the homemade biscoff sandwich cakes are out of this world)

Meat was good. Gravy was amazing. Mash was creamy and tasty. Roast Potatoes werent good and the veg was a little disappointing. Dessert was awesome too, I had the biscoff sundae. Overall we enjoyed this experience. However, it is a little pricier than other Sunday Roasts at 34£ for 2 courses.

This restaurant has been on our list for far too long, and we finally ticked it off last night . The booking process was very easy. On arrival, we were greeted by friendly, professional staff, and we sat in the bar area, which was very welcoming There is a fantastic drinks selection. we chose a glass of Nyetimber Rose & a pint of vocation brewery beer. There is a blackboard with specials and various other dishes. We were presented with a printed menu, too. We started our meal with some bread which is baked onsite. The sourdough was as good as I've had in michelin Star Restaurants, and the Focaccia I described as "like a pillow" it was so light. The butter was just the right temperature to spread, too. We shared a lobster crumpet. This was a dish I could eat over and over again packed with flavour. For mains, We chose the Scallops, tomato & courgette & also went for the beef fillet, which is an updated version of one of the owners' dishes from their appearance on Masterchef the proffessionals. The Scallops were perfectly cooked with the crust I'd expect from being pan roasted, the sweetness of the Scallop meat balancing the flavour along with the lightly pickled courgette & tomatoes that popped with that fresh greenhouse taste I really enjoy. The sauce again packed with flavour seasoned properly. The fillet steak cooked exactly how I like it, the sauce & crumb on top, adding extra depth to the flavour of the meat. The pot of cottage pie , carrot & peas gave the dish a traditional but modern feel and the puree smooth, packed with flavour and seasoned to perfection. We added a side order of chips. Obviously, care is taken when sourcing produce as the quality of potato used was excellent. After a pause, we decided on desserts going for sticky toffee pudding and bakewell tart. The sticky toffee was the best we had tasted in a long time light with a real depth of flavour in the pudding and the sauce. The pastry of the bakewell tart again was as good as I've had recently at michelin Star Restaurants. The fruit picked locally added a real burst of hedgerow flavours. The whole experience of visiting Fourwards was a pleasure , service excellent, real culinary skill & care in the cooking of every dish we ate. And the venue is stylish whilst still being warm & welcoming. Definitely value for money, portions sizes perfect and we will be returning soon and booking the private dining room.

Have visited Fourwards on many occasions, lunch, evening and Sunday roast and it is always incredible. We came for the new brunch/lunch menu and again, everything was amazing. We had the salmon and parma ham focaccia sandwiches, the best ever sweet potato fries and chips, fresh baked pastries and tasty coffee. Portions are big and I took some home with me. Hardworking staff and nothing is too much trouble! Sit in the beautiful garden area if the weather is nice. 10/10

The service here is always exceptional, never any qualms. We sat in the outdoor seating area which was stunning and the perfect place to enjoy food and drink in the sunshine. We had the new BBL (breakfast brunch and lunch) menu and I chose the Club Classic, Chicken Focaccia sandwich which was THE best sandwich I have ever tasted. The iced coffee was delicious, everything you could ask for in an iced coffee. Overall my visit was sublime and I will 100% going back and already arranging the second BBL visit.
